Google has just launched a new tool using artificial intelligence (AI) aimed at helping users learn foreign languages more effectively.

The tool, called Little Language Lessons, uses Google’s advanced language model to offer personalized learning exercises.
Google stated that these are early-stage features, but the tool provides unique applications such as learning phrases based on situations: The first feature focuses on useful phrases for real-life situations like travel (e.g., booking a hotel, checking destinations).
Everyday communication practice: It provides exercises using less formal communication, which can be customized for specific contexts like being in a bar.
Learning vocabulary through images: The third feature works similarly to Google Lens, allowing users to take photos of their surroundings (e.g., restaurant menus) to learn new vocabulary based on the content in the image.
With the support of the Gemini model, Google’s tools also aim to offer a more natural and human-like interactive experience, leveraging the full power of AI.
Currently, the "Little Language Lessons" tools are available for free through Google Labs and support languages such as English, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Russian.
The tools can be accessed via Google Labs.
